The story that is of interested to lighthouse collectors is “Signals of the Sea” by Arthur Hewitt and historic and now rare glassy photographs by the author in a 15 page story. The rest of the book is packed with stories that are now very historic with lots of stuff you will never be able to learn from on the Internet. One of its editors was Alfred E. Smith, one time governor of New York ad presidential candidate. At one time Teddy Roosevelt was an associate editor of The Outlook. This book is a real and rare slice of American history and is in good condition.
