Description
Billed as the Unofficial Publication from the Public Information Office of the First Coast Guard District in Boston, Mass., this booklet is a unique glimpse at the life of a 1970’s Coastie. Stories from drug enforcement, icebergs, the Boston Marathon, and an interesting recurring column called “Lolita’s SAR Corner” in which Lolita asks the readers to send in tidbits and anecdotes for her to write about. She doesn’t seem to get much response, but not for a lack of trying. 27 page booklet looks like it was typed on a manual typewriter – with sketches and b&w photos throughout. This item is part of our collection of old and rare books that were donated to assist in our ongoing research. They are sold AS IS with no returns.
